The Antola Mount Regional Park recently installed a remarkable telescope instrument in the Observatory built on the Fascia municipality. The Antola Regional Park, with Regione Liguria and the University of Genova, has made the facility more easily accessible to the general public and the scientific community by completing its remotization.
The University of Genoa created ORSA, an inter-departmental center for the scientific, didactic and outreach exploitation.
The Physics Department (DIFI) hosts the ORSA inter-departmental center, in collaboration with DIBRIS, DIMA, DITEN, DCCI and DISTAV for management, development and scientific and didactic exploitation of the telescope.
Moreover, remote control room are being set up at DIFI and DIBRIS in order to organize citizen-science activities, and didactic events for students.
